The DVD seems to be the main focus with this release, it features over 140 minutes of videos, live clips and some special features. The most interesting and important thing here is that the majority of these videos have never been shown in North America due to the video channels here being so damned one-sided and pay-to-play oriented. Among the videos featured are Battlelore, Beseech, Leaves Eyes, TYR, Atrocity, Wig Wam and much more. The special feature of the DVD is an in-depth look into the making of Leaves Eyes' The Vinland Saga album as well as an interview with leading lady, Liv Kristine. You'll also get Wig Wamed for real, there are three of the most hilarious videos I've ever seen in my life here - "In My Dreams", "Hard To Be A Rock N' Roller" and "Bless The Night". The live clips found here are fairly amusing. Just to be able to see Enthroned rip it up on stage is enough for me, but you also get a glimpse of what Saltatio Mortis and Midnattsol are capable of in a live setting.

The bonus audio disc included with this release is also put together well and the track listing is much different than the DVD, so you're not being dosed with the same thing over again which seems to be the thing going with the DVD/CD releases of today. The highlights found here are tunes by Sinamore, Visions Of Atlantis, Weltenbrand, Elis and again Wig Wam! Even though I am very familiar with the label and the majority of their bands, I'm still apt to say I've gained more from viewing/listening to this DVD/CD, as will you. If you really want to check out Napalm Records, this is the perfect way to accomplish such a big task and quickly, too. My hat's off to the label for going all out and giving the fans and would be fans of the label something to savor and remember.
